The birds making such a sweet sound,
How I love just lying and listening all around
The wonderful breeze I feel through my hair
Looking at the trees sway in the air.
Hearing the laugh of my sister’s voice
Here I am calm and poised
The sun looks so big and bright in the sky
Look! A butterfly flying by
The cirrus clouds look like they are saying hello
While fresh from the cooler, daddy’s bringing out some jello
I hear the pleasant waves splashing. Oh! How I’d love to go boating
Ocean waves are my favorite, The sandy beach, not a far reach. The sun on the horizon, shiny and bright, A perfect beach day. What a delight!
Warm beach sand and crisp sun rays Reflecting and dancing to the blue ocean waves. My sister runs, kites fly, guitars play, how I wish I was here on all days
Dad is taking a warm dip, while mom is relaxing with her favorite tea to sip. Dad sees some bright fish along the shore as mom picks some seashells that she adores
So many colorful fish swimming together with a swish. Rainbow fish, clown fish, and manta rays, Moving in an array.
It’s getting darker. Look. I see one star
It seems so close but at the same time far
Here I am, setting up the tent
Hmm…. let me find a place that doesn’t have a dent
I can see a sliver of the silver moon,
While my dad is playing the guitar for my favorite tune
I smell yummy smores and hear the crackling twigs as the campfire roars
I’m excited for tomorrow’s hike,
Along with a picnic in the woods, and a ride on my bike
